3. Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a boil.

4. Reduce the heat and allow the broth to simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes.

5. Turn off the stove, cover the pot with a thick towel, and let the broth cool (2 hours).

6. Strain the decoction through a gauze or sieve and pour it into a clean glass bottle or jar.

The finished decoction can be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days. Drink the decoction 50-100 milliliters three times a day before meals.

How to prepare burdock root extract?

Burdock root extract is one of the most popular and effective ways to strengthen the hair on the head and prevent hair loss. It contains many useful substances: inulin, alkaloids, phytosterols, polysaccharides, vitamins and trace elements.

To prepare the extract, you will need the following:
- burdock root (50-100 grams);
- water (0.5 liters);
- a jar with a lid;
- sieve or gauze.

Stages in the preparation of the extract:

1. Clean dirt and soil from the rhizome, and rinse thoroughly.

2. Cut it into small pieces, thin circles or grate it on a coarse grater.

3. Put the prepared mixture in a jar and pour water up to the top of the jar.

4. Cover the jar with a lid and leave for 10 days in a dark and cool place.

5. Shake the jar periodically (once a day) to mix the contents.

6. After 10 days, strain the solution through a sieve or gauze, removing all plant elements.

The finished extract is used to massage the scalp or added to hair masks. It is an excellent remedy for strengthening hair and stimulating its growth.
The extract should be applied to the roots of the hair and then massaged into the scalp for 5 minutes. After that, you should leave the extract on your hair for 30 minutes, wrapping your head with a thick towel. After half an hour, you need to rinse your hair with warm water and dry it. This procedure should be done once a week.
